How many people can sit in the hot tub?
5 people can sit comfortably.  You may be able to seat 6.

How long does it take for the water to heat up after the tub is delivered?
The hot tub typically takes somewhere between 24-48 hours to reach a temperature of 103 degrees.  The timing depends on a couple things such as the outside temperature and the temperature of the water being put in the tub.

How should I prepare before the hot tub is delivered?

All you need to do is make sure we are able to get access to the area you want to put the tub.  We simply tip it on it's side and roll it wherever you want.  This means it will be only 33" wide so it will fit through most gates.  However it is 78" high and fairly large so it's hard to make sharp narrow turns.  Simply make sure there are no objects in the way (ie. car in the driveway, snowblower/lawnmower parked at the side of the house, etc.) and that the walkway is clear of snow.

The tub is able to sit on top of snow as long as it sits level.  All the jets must be submersed in water in order for the tub to work properly.

Does the tub come with it's own water?

No, the tub must be filled from the tap on the side of your house or you may make other arrangements to have a water truck fill the tub for you (this would be an extra expense).

Who is responsible for filling the tub?
When the tub is delivered, we will set it down wherever you like.  We will then hook up the garden hose and start filling the tub (If you do not have a garden hose, we always bring one just in case).  As the tub is filling up, we will explain to you how the controls work (they are very simple!).  Once you feel you are comfortable with everything, we will leave.  All that is left to do is shut off the water when it's full (approximately 45 minutes to an hour later) and plug it in!

Are there any chemicals involved?
In order to keep the water clean, we will leave you with some bromine pucks.  We will show you where to put them and you will only need to add more if the others completely dissolve.  We will make sure to give you enough to last the length of your rental.

How do I get the water out of the tub after my rental period is over?
No need to worry.  We will bring a pump with 50' of discharge hose.  This usually gets the water far enough from the house to avoid any issues.  We can bring as much hose as you want so if you think you need it, then just be sure to let us know.

Should I unplug the hot tub before you come to pick it up?
Definitely not in the wintertime.  The tub will freeze.  In the summertime, it is not as big of an issue.  We do still ask that you leave it plugged in just so the water stays clean by circulating through the filter.

How far in advance should I reserve?
The hot tubs are generally busier on long weekends and holidays so plan as far in advance as you wish.  For non peak times, usually 1-2 weeks in advance is plenty.
