What is Covered?

When you pay for a Waiver, we waive a portion of your liability for:

●    Accidental Damage: Unintentional damage occurring during normal, responsible use.

●    Cosmetic Damage: Minor scratches or non-structural scrapes.

●    Theft: Provided specific security criteria are met (locked premises or chained to a permanent object) and a police report is filed within 24 hours.

What is My Financial Responsibility?

 

In the event of a covered loss or damage:

●    Damage Waiver: We cover the first $500 CAD of repair/replacement. You are responsible for the remaining balance.

●    RPP: You pay an "RPP Loss Fee" equal to 15% of the retail price of the equipment. We waive the rest (up to C$100,000 for account holders; C$50,000 for non-account holders).

 

Note: Rental charges continue to accrue until the equipment is returned or the replacement cost is paid in full.

Important Exclusions (What is NOT Covered)

The Waiver does not apply if damage results from:

●    Negligence & Misuse: Overloading, improper fueling, lack of maintenance (oil/water/air), or using light-duty extension cords.

●    Insecure Theft: Equipment left unsupervised, in a vehicle, or not at the specified job site.

●    Wear Items: Damage to tires, tubes, or "consumables" like blades, bits, and breakers.

●    Transit: Damage during transport, including collisions with bridges or overpasses.

●    Nature: Floods, wind, storms, or earthquakes.

 

Using Your Own Insurance

You may decline our Waivers by providing a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that includes:

●    General Liability: Minimum C$1,000,000 per occurrence.

●    All-Risk Physical Damage: Coverage for the full replacement value of the equipment.

●    Loss Payee: Our company must be named as "Additional Named Insured" or "Loss Payee."
